Great design and sound

I've used these speakers for about 2 weeks now. The sound is about 10 times louder than my on-board Toshiba laptop speakers.
I'm glad there is only 1 cord for power and music connection. It starts right up with windows 7 when connected.
The unique thing about these is probably the design. There is a cable in between the two speakers that retracts and extends on a springing system.
The maximum length seems to enable you to put the speakers on the side of your screen, and they go all the way together if you want the on the top of your screen like a sound bar or something.
They have some controls on the top like volume and MUTE.
They are also magnetic with eachother so you can fodl them together for when you want to put them in a bag.
Overall good product for the price.
***********One thing I noticed is that if you are playing music already on your computer, and then you plug this thing in, you have to restart the program(media player / pandora / internet explorer) to get the application to recognize the new audio connection.
